Sales Diagnosis
Find out why one of your own Amazon listings may not be selling, from what Amazon itself reports, with each finding marked Confirmed or Possible. Read-only.
Video coming soon. The steps below are complete.
Sales Diagnosis answers one question for one of your own listings: why may this listing not be selling? It reads what Amazon reports about the listing and your account, adds FindNuro's listing checklist, and lists what to look at first. It is in the Listing Optimizer, under Sales Diagnosis.
Sales Diagnosis is available on Pro (preview), Elite and AI Agent Pro. To use it, connect Amazon Seller Central (read-only on Pro and Elite) from the Listing Optimizer.
What each plan includes
| Plan | Sales Diagnosis | AI rewrites of your listing copy | Sending approved copy to Amazon |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Not included (shown locked) | Not included | Not included |
| Pro | Preview: 3 per billing period | Not included | Not included |
| Elite | Full diagnosis: 60 per billing period | 5 per billing period, with Export copy and a check with Amazon (nothing is saved) | Not included |
| AI Agent Pro | Full diagnosis: 100 per billing period | 60 per billing period | Yes, only after you approve the exact change (beta) |
Listing audits are counted separately and don't change: Pro 20, Elite 60 and AI Agent Pro 100 per billing period (see Listing Optimizer). A diagnosis never uses an audit. The AI summary of a full diagnosis and every AI rewrite also count toward your plan's AI allowance (see AI usage limits).
The Pro preview
A preview runs the same checks and shows:
- the Listing Health Score: how many findings are urgent, to improve, passed and not checked;
- the status of each area (buyable status, inventory, sales trend, pricing, listing quality, images and attributes, competitor comparison, returns);
- the title and the Confirmed or Possible badge of the top two findings.
The evidence behind each finding, what to do next, the full list of findings, sales, stock, pricing and returns details, the competitor comparison, keyword ideas, new copy, the check with Amazon and the AI summary are part of the full diagnosis on Elite and AI Agent Pro. A preview has no AI summary.
Before you start
- Your Amazon seller account connected in FindNuro. On Pro and Elite, use the Connect Amazon Seller Central card in the Listing Optimizer: the connection is read-only (FindNuro reads your listings, sales, inventory and reports and cannot change anything on Amazon on your plan). See Read-only connection on Pro and Elite.
- The listing must be one of your own listings in that account.
Steps
- Open Diagnose sales in the menu (under Sales Diagnosis). It is the same as Listing Optimizer › Sales Diagnosis.
- Pick one of your listings and a period (for example Last 90 days, compared with the 90 days before).
- Press 1. Analyze. The first time, Amazon may need about a minute to prepare its reports; those rows say Not checked: Amazon is preparing this report. Press Run again with the reports when they are ready (this uses one more diagnosis).
- Read the findings, most urgent first.
On Elite and AI Agent Pro you can continue step by step: Identify (the copy-related findings guide the writer), Generate (new title, bullets, description and backend search terms written only from your listing's own facts), Validate (Amazon checks the new copy; nothing is saved). On Elite the last step is Export copy: paste the new copy in Seller Central yourself.
"Confirmed" and "Possible"
- Confirmed (Amazon reports this): Amazon itself reports the fact, for example the listing's status, an issue Amazon shows, your stock, a restriction, a row in one of Amazon's reports or Amazon's own sales totals. Each one shows its source and date.
- Possible explanation: FindNuro's own checklist, a calculation, or licensed marketplace data about similar products. It may explain the problem, but it is not proof. For example, a drop in sales and a stock-out on the same dates are shown together, but FindNuro does not claim one caused the other.
What is "Not checked", and why
Some information is not available to FindNuro, so it is shown as Not checked with the reason, never guessed:
| Not checked | Why |
|---|---|
| Sessions, page views, conversion and Featured Offer (Buy Box) percentage | Amazon provides these only to apps with the Brand Analytics role, which FindNuro does not have yet. |
| Search volume and click share for keywords | Also Brand Analytics (and Brand Registry). Keyword ideas are labelled no verified search volume. |
| Whether you hold the Featured Offer | Needs Amazon's Pricing role. |
| Advertising (search terms, spend, ACoS) | FindNuro's Amazon Ads connection is pending approval; FindNuro reads no campaign data. |
| A section Amazon did not answer | Shown with Amazon's reason, for example a permission your connection does not include. The rest of the diagnosis still runs. |
Sending approved copy to Amazon (AI Agent Pro)
On AI Agent Pro, after Amazon's check passes, Prepare change for approval shows exactly what will be sent (title, bullets, description and backend search terms only). Tick I reviewed exactly this change, then press 6. Apply on Amazon. FindNuro reads the listing again first; if it changed since you reviewed it, you start again at Validate.
During the beta, FindNuro sends changes only to listings that cannot become buyable (for example an inactive listing with no stock). For a buyable listing the workflow ends at Export copy and says that edits to live listings are not enabled yet.
Frequently asked questions
Will this fix my sales?
FindNuro can't promise that. It shows what Amazon reports and what FindNuro's checklist finds; what happens next on Amazon is up to Amazon and your shoppers.
Why does a diagnosis say "Reconnect Amazon Seller Central"?
Amazon refused FindNuro's stored authorization (for example it expired or was removed in Seller Central). Reconnect your account; the diagnosis you tried is not counted.
Does a failed diagnosis count?
No. A diagnosis is counted only when it finishes.
